Tinytag data loggers provide monitoring in laboratories and in other healthcare facilities.
Loggers in the Tinytag range are used to monitor medical fridges, freezers and culture rooms; in sterilisation processes; and in the storage and transportation of vaccine and blood products. When accuracy is critical, and results need to be recorded, Tinytag data loggers will verify that medical products are kept and transported within the specified temperature range.

Tinytags help the correct temperature ranges to be maintained for pharmaceuticals and other medical products in fridges, freezers, vaccine cabinets, culture rooms and cryogenic applications. If required, the logger will produce a flashing LED or audio alarm when an unwanted change in temperature occurs, however the casing design ensures that the alarm is not triggered by a brief opening of the fridge door. Units are available which incorporate an external probe located inside the storage unit, with the logger itself outside, so the display can be read without opening the door.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommendations are very specific on the storage of vaccines, stipulating that they should be transported and stored according to the manufacturers' recommended temperature range of +2 to +8°C until the point of administration, to prevent reactogenicity and loss of potency. Recommendations also require the temperature of vaccine refrigerators to be continually monitored and for readings to be documented at least once per day. A small Tinytag data logger that sits next to the vaccines provides the effective solution.
