Using Your Own PT100 or PT1000 Sensor
We have a number of PT100 and PT1000 probes in our product range, but it is also possible to use third-party sensors with our data loggers.
The pdf document at the bottom of this page provides wiring instructions for 2, 3 and 4-wire PT100 and PT1000 sensors.
We recommend the use of 3-wire, class A sensors.
2-wire and 4-wire sensors can be used, but the accuracy is reduced when 2-wire sensors are used and loggers will not read the fourth wire of 4-wire sensors.
