Tinytag Transit Data Loggers are Now BS EN12830 Compliant

The Tinytag Transit TG-0050 and TG-3080 models are now BS EN12830 compliant, making temperature data logging in transport within EU guidelines an affordable possibility

The Tinytag Transit TG-0050 and TG-3080 models are now BS EN12830 compliant, making temperature data logging in transport within EU guidelines an affordable possibility.

Since January 2006, all measurement devices used for monitoring quick-frozen foodstuffs (QFF) require compliance with EU regulations. Food operators are also required to keep verification records of the compliance of their logging technology.

The Transit is the lowest-cost Tinytag data logger and the new EU compliance makes it ideal for temperature monitoring of the transport, storage and distribution of chilled, frozen, deep and quick-frozen foods.

With a 7,900 reading capacity and user-programmable logging intervals, the monitoring of temperature in QFF is now both affordable and possible through the Transit logger. Two user-programmable alarms mean that fluctuations or drops in temperature can be easily rectified before a consignment is ruined. The splash-proof case and temperature range of -30? to +50? means this logger is also suitable for vaccine and drug transportation, as well as frozen food.

To become accredited, the Transit was required to go through various validity tests, which verified all of the claims made about the logger. An independent report was satisfied that all of the conditions have been met, awarding the Transit its status.

For temperature monitoring in logistics, the Tinytag Transit is robust, lightweight, cost-effective and now EU compliant.
