Temperature Monitoring - Data Loggers

Many of our data loggers monitor temperature, so we need to narrow your options to provide you with the most suitable units for your specific application.

If the data logger is to be used indoors to monitor the temperature conditions of a building, a room or an office, or within museums, art galleries and archives, consider a lightweight and splashproof unit (IP54). These loggers are more economical than waterproof units and are suitable for all but the harshest indoor environments.

If the logger is to be left outdoors, under the toughest environmental conditions, or indoors under very harsh dusty conditions, consider a more rugged and waterproof logger (IP68). The majority of our IP68 units withstand immersion to 15m, making them ideal for use in damp or wet environments or to being left out in the rain, buried in soil etc. It should be noted that IP54 loggers can also be used outdoors if sheltered from direct water jets by, for example, a Stevenson Screen.

We also have a number of loggers that are designed specifically for aquatic use. The Tinytag Aquatic 2 is waterproof to 500m, making them ideal for monitoring underwater environmental conditions. If you are looking for a product for use in a dishwasher or washer disinfector then consider the Tinytag Splash 2, a fast time response unit, which has been designed for this specific application.

For temperature monitoring in larger-scale indoor or outdoor facilities, where manually downloading multiple loggers may be impractical, the Tinytag Radio data logging system is a cost-effective solution. The system uses a self-configuring mesh network to automatically send ‘real-time’ data from multiple logging points to a receiver connected to a PC, therefore enabling immediate analysis and corrective action to be taken.
