Tinytag data loggers help verify refrigerator performance
Temperature data loggers are being used by a specialist manufacturer to help verify fridge specifications.
Refrigerators manufactured for the coach and bus market are monitored with Tinytag temperature loggers to verify they are working within the correct environmental specification.
Shades Technics Ltd is a specialist equipment manufacturer, designing and building bathroom and kitchen systems for the Coach and Bus market. The family run business manufactures its own fridges in-house using a 24v peltier system, and needs to verify that the system is working to the correct specification before it is released to the customer.
Shades Technics has been using Tinytags for about 15 years, and currently uses 10 Tinytag Talk 2 loggers to monitor the temperature of the fridge's vs the ambient air temperature. After analysing the recorded data, if a fridge is found to be faulty, it will be repaired or returned to the peltier system supplier.
Louis Merhemitch is Quality Manager at Shades Technics comments, "The Tinytags are very durable, and last a long time. I am very satisfied with their functionality and ease of use."
