Power supply requirements for Tinytag Plus Radio data loggers
The Tinytag Plus Radio data logger requires a power supply of between 4.7 and 26V that can supply 50mA.
Support
Tinytag CO2 data loggers are supplied with mains power supplies. This article provides information on using alternative power supplies with a Tinytag CO2 data logger.
As supplied, the Tinytag CO2 data logger comes with a mains power supply.
Tinytag CO2 data loggers require an +18V/500mA DC supply and have an average current draw of 13mA.
The data logger's CO2 sensor must be powered as described above in order to work and for the data logger to read correctly.
The back-up battery that is fitted in the CO2 data logger ensures that the data logger continues to record in the event of an interruption to the unit's power supply. The back-up battery does not power the CO2 sensor. With no power to the unit's CO2 sensor, a Tinytag CO2 data logger will read 0ppm.
