Tinytag Radio System latest: new Plus Radio Ethernet Receiver

New Ethernet Receiver: remote data access from any computer on your network using LAN connectivity

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Plus Radio Ethernet Receiver as part of our Tinytag Radio Data Logging System.

New Plus Radio Ethernet receiver

A Tinytag radio receiver connects a network of radio data loggers monitoring environmental conditions in an area and the computer managing the system. The new Ethernet receiver plugs directly into a LAN, and allows remote access to data from any computer connected to the network - removing the need for a computer in the area where monitoring is taking place. (The existing Tinytag Radio USB receiver plugs directly into the computer running the software.)

Tinytag Explorer (radio-enabled), the software running the System, can be installed on a remote computer - preferably a server - with the receiver connected to it across the company's LAN. A company server is typically more reliable as it is usually left on and has back-ups in place in the event of a power cut.

The new Ethernet receiver is a PoE (Power over the Ethernet) device, and a plug-in PoE adaptor can be supplied with the unit. A battery backup is also available in the event of power loss.

The Tinytag Radio System automatically gathers data using wireless communications and is one of the most versatile and easy to use systems of its kind. Direct access to the data is available from the convenience of the user's own desk, with information viewed on a PC, across a LAN, or remotely over the internet. Alarm warnings can be sent via e-mail to alert the user when the value being monitored goes out of specification.

The Tinytag Radio System is suitable for use throughout the EU and Australia.
