The display on my logger is blank
The display on a Tinyview or Tinytag View 2 data logger will only show readings while the unit is recording. If your device has a blank screen, it may have stopped recording or the battery might need replacing.

Most Tinytag data loggers have one or more LEDs that indicate the status of the logger. In most cases, the LEDs indicate that the logger is waiting to record, recording or that an alarm is active.
Ultra 2, Plus 2, Talk 2 and Transit 2 data loggers have two LEDs, one green and one red.
A green LED is used to show the logger is recording.
A red LED is used to indicate an active alarm.
The LEDs have different flash patterns to indicate different states. In most cases, the flash patterns indicate the following:
Tinytag Aquatic 2 and Splash 2 data loggers have a single red LED which indicates both when a logger is recording and when alarms are active:
In all cases, a flashing red LED is not a low battery warning. Tinytag Explorer will give low battery warnings for most data logger models. You can find out how to check your data logger's battery in our helpful article: How to check my data logger's battery status.
CO2 data loggers have a single LED that can flash either green or red.
The flash patterns for the logger are the same as for Ultra 2, Plus 2, Talk 2, View 2 and Transit 2 data loggers (described above).
Additionally, one alarm channel has been preconfigured to flash red when mains power to the logger has been disconnected. When this happens, the sensor will no longer be powered so the logger will record 0ppm.
Radio products have a single LED that can flash either green or red:
Tinytag LAN (Ethernet) data loggers and the Ethernet Radio Receiver have two LEDs: one that flashes red or green, the other that flashes yellow or blue:
For further information on LED flash patterns, please see individual product data sheets.

The display on a Tinyview or Tinytag View 2 data logger will only show readings while the unit is recording. If your device has a blank screen, it may have stopped recording or the battery might need replacing.
Different types of data logger have different low battery warnings. Some loggers display or indicate low battery status, while other loggers must be checked in Tinytag Explorer.
If your humidity logger is showing unusual or unexpected readings, it is likely that the sensor has come into contact with a liquid. Allowing the sensor to fully dry should allow the logger to read normally.
